Yellow Heads

The Yellow Heads (黄天会) is one of the largest, if not the largest gangs so far in the Shenmue series. Their headquarters is the Yellow Head Building, the biggest in Kowloon. They are known to have terrorised locals of Kowloon and well as having a reputation of bing particular violent.

The Yellow Heads are lead by Dou Niu, he is quite a large man, in both body mass and height and appears to have personal rivalry with Ren Wuying (Ren of Heavens). Right-hand man to Dou Niu is Yuan, as there are portraits of Yuan on there floors, as has Dou Niu.

Although Kowloon is their home base, they also have influence in both Aberdeen and Wan Chai, this could be connected with Ren Wuying and Dou Niu’s feud. Liandeng Jing, one of the members of Yellow Head operating in Wan Chai, can be seen trying to force residents out of the Yan Tin Aparments and Yuan can be seen making deals in the Fortune’s Pier warehouses.

The Yellow Heads is the gang that has the clearest ties to the Chi You Men. They were tasked of finding Yuanda Zhu, and eventually manage to get hold of Yang, a former associate of Yuanda Zhu in order to get information of Yuanda Zhu’s whereabouts.

This doesn’t go to plan, as Yuanda Zhu is saved by Ryo, Ren, Wong and Joy.
